Ferrara's Bakery
Ferrara's Bakery is the closest you can get to Arthur Ave without actually leaving LBI. Hit Ship Bottom early to be able to get your hands on the infamous jelly donut. We would definitely recommend trying their dozen other flavors like traditional sprinkle, creme filled, or maple bacon as well. If you aren't a donut person, you can still secure some fine Italian pastries like cannolis, classic Italian cookies, or stuffed breads during your visit.
Baked On The Beach
Baked on the Beach is the afternoon snack destination you have been longing for in Surf City. The bakery's offerings run the gamut in terms of baked goods - cookies, brownies, bars, buns galore! Fruit lovers can rejoice too - their pie is out of this world and they have seasonal offerings like strawberry rhubarb and blueberry peach. That totally counts as a daily fruit serving, right?!
Marvel's Bakery
Marvel's Bakery is not only a morning donut run in Beach Haven Gardens, but a magical experience where you can watch donuts be born. For over 40 years, the cinnamon sugar donuts still remain the OG and are an island favorite. While you are there, you can also check out their sticky buns, crumb cake, or muffins to tickle your carb fancy.

While Big Apple Bakery might be a little more of a trek, It is certainly worth the drive to Manahawkin to visit this European style gem. As you enter, you will be welcomed by shelves full of sweet and savory delicacies. Seriously, they have bread for days. Between the array of pastries, cakes, and cookies, there is truly a baked good for everyone here.
