Rental homes may be booked up for the summer, but that doesn’t mean you have to limit your LBI stay to a day trip. Long Beach Island has lots of amazing hotels to accommodate you and your squad, whether you’re looking to ball out or ball on a budget. Hotels on LBI are the perfect option if you’re looking to stay for a long weekend of a mid-week getaway, plus you can be in the heart of all the action on the island without missing a beat. Be sure to take advantage of all the amenities that you might not get in a rental, like heated pools, free beach badges, on-site gyms and late-night room service. As long as you can get to the beach, we think you’ll be just fine!

Hotel LBI

You can’t miss LBI’s newest hotel. As soon as you come over the Causeway, you’re greeted by Hotel LBI, a sprawling hotel that looks like it belongs in the Hamptons, complete with a white summer home exterior. The ‘wow factor” doesn’t end with the beautiful exterior, the interior is fresh and modern with a nautical flare. Each guestroom is outfitted with a kitchenette, luxurious beds, and decor that looks straight out of a magazine. The dining on premises, Salt Kitchen, is one of the top places to eat on LBI and you cannot beat the sunset rooftop views here. While this is one of the pricer options, you certainly get what you pay for. The location, dining, and drinking options make this worth the $$$.

The Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club

You’ll truly feel like you’re at a Caribbean resort when you stay at the Sea Shell Resort. Splurge for an ocean view room and you’re really in for a treat. With a heated pool and beach access right from the resort, you’ll never have to stray too far. Not to mention beach badges are included in the price of your stay! The Tiki Bar at the resort is our favorite feature and you’ll likely catch live music here nightly. You’ll find yourself poolside with a drink or enjoying the beach just steps away from your hotel room all weekend long.

Spray Beach Hotel

Spray Beach Hotel is an oceanfront hotel that’s right on the beach. The rates here are very competitive making this is a pretty economical option for families and couples. The kids will love the pool and the adults will love the beach bar. The hotel is located a little outside of the hustle and bustle of Beach Haven but not too far from the fun. Rooms are outfitted with rattan-style furniture that evokes serious beach vibes. Stop by the Sand Dollar restaurant on premises for drink specials and a light lunch before hitting the beach.

Holiday Inn, Manahawkin

While it’s not on the island, the Holiday Inn is a great place to stay to be close to LBI… as long as you have a car, of course! Leave early for the beach and come back in time for happy hour at the onsite restaurant, The Mainland. The property here is absolutely gorgeous and many couples even get married here. While the rooms are pretty standard for a big box brand with a nautical flair, there’s a pool, putting range and fire pits around the property that make it stand out. It’s a great place to stay with your family and a good economic option to stay off the island.
