There has to be something in the LBI water that makes the bagels here so delicious. You’ll find that tourists and locals alike are very serious about their bagel spot of choice. Once you discover where your favorite bagel is — you won’t want one from anywhere else!
Whether you’re planning on taking your breakfast beachside, posting up at a picnic table nearby, or eating your bagel on the go, we’ve got the best bagel spots you need to try. Get to these bagel shops early to make sure you can secure your favorite bagel and beat the crowds.

Bagels and Beyond
With two locations on the island and two more just off the island, you’re never far from Bagels and Beyond. You can’t beat their bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel that’s exploding with “everything” seasoning. We recommend calling ahead to place your order and make pick-up a breeze; just be sure you’re calling the correct location (we’ve made that mistake before)! Don’t forget to bring cash as some locations don’t take cards.
Bageleddi’s
Don’t let the crowd deter you from Bageleddi’s — the line moves quick and their bagels are so worth it! Their new location sits right across the street from their iconic first location and now has an awesome outdoor courtyard where you can enjoy your breakfast. Bageleddi’s makes the softest and chewiest bagels on the island so we like to keep it simple: a plain bagel (never toasted) with veggie cream cheese. Order a crumb cake along with your favorite bagel and you’ll be ready to hit the beach all day long.
The Bagel Shack
You can’t miss this hot pink building in the heart of Beach Haven serving up the pork roll, egg and cheese bagels we dream about. Good luck trying to walk past The Bagel Shack without your nose leading you all the way to those fresh bagels! The best part? The Bagel Shack is open year ‘round so whenever you take a trip to Beach Haven, The Bagel Shack will be there waiting for you. We like to order by the dozen, just for good measure.
Spray Beach Bagels
This little shop on the boulevard offers some of the best bagels and crumb cake on the island. Spray Beach Bagels is our go-to when we are looking for lox and cream cheese bagels and a spot with lots of seating. Their staff is some of the friendliest around which makes any wait totally worth it. Make sure you get there early for bagels before they sell out for the day — late risers get kaisers!
