The Local Market & Kitchen

The Local Market & Kitchen is a LBI Eats fave - it has already been featured on our best coffee and sandwiches lists. Not surprisingly, you can get a great salad here as well. It offers a variety of grab and go salads (caesar, greek, etc) for a quick and easy lunch option. All of their food is delicious and you really can never go wrong here.

Jersey Girl Grill

While Jersey Girl Grill serves up breakfast, sandwiches and grill menu options, its salads are not to be missed. The Mango Chicken Salad is their true specialty and is marked on the menu as a not to be missed item. It has an Asian vibe and is filled with grilled chicken, avocado, mango, onion, and Asian noodles with a Manarain orange sesame ginger dressing. If that's not your jam, you can opt for a simpler salad like a Seasonal Salad or a Spinach & Pear salad. Hit this Long Beach Township sandwich shop and try them for yourself.

Spice it Up

Spice it Up offers a solid sandwich menu and keeps it simple with its salads for Beach Haven residents. With just two offerings, diners can indulge in their choice of either an Italian Garden salad or a Strawberry Spinach salad. Both options are filled with plenty of fresh veggies and Spice it Up is known for using high quality ingredients so you will not be disappointed. It is definitely a grab and go situation and they also have a store where you can purchase various provisions for your home.

Maristella's Luncheonette

Maristella's Luncheonette is a cute eatery in Ship Bottom that opened earlier this year. Its menu is mainly made up of sandwiches, but you can actually turn any item into a salad. Maristella will put the sandwich ingredients over your choice of lettuce and add carrots and cherries and voila, there is your lunch! Whether you fancy a crispy chicken or Italian sandwich vibe for your salad, the possibilities are endless. It has a small area for seating if you would like to eat there but take out is always a solid option as well.

Biggy's Beach Grill

Biggy's Beach Grill is a laid back tropical spot whose mantra is "good vibes, good food" (sign us up!). Although you are in Beach Haven, the menu will transport you to warmer climates with its Carribean inspired menu. While they do serve burgers, tacos, and bowls, they also have a few salad options. If you're looking for something vegetarian, you can opt for the Summer Salad that is filled with strawberries, goat cheese, avocado, and sunflower seeds. The Chicken Sunrise and the Jerk Shrimp salads are a little heartier due to their respective added proteins. It is only open from May-October and we recommend enjoying your order at their picnic tables under the tiki umbrellas for the full effect.

Pearl Street Market

You may be familiar with Pearl Street Market for its extensive menu of hot and cold sandwiches (they certainly made our list!). However, they also offer made to order salads and you can try the Steak Salad or the Blackened Tuna Salad. In order to reduce wait times, the market started serving pre-prepared salads for grab and go moments and you can expect options like a Greek, Caesar, or Summer Berry salad. Sit outside on their patio and take in the surroundings as you enjoy your meal.

Wally's

Wally's has a really friendly menu for those with dietary restrictions and also serves plenty of healthy options. For lunch and dinner, the Surf City establishment offers a variety of delicious salads. From the Buffalo Chicken Salad to the California Cobb Salad, there is something for everyone. They also have vegan dressing options as well as a large outdoor seating area.
