Where to Take Dad for Father’s Day Brunch

Father’s Day is just around the corner and there’s nothing that says “I love you” quite like a brunch you don’t have to cook yourself. Get out there! Enjoy the day! No need to be cooped up at home when there are a ton of restaurants on LBI that are waiting to serve you a feast fit for a king (we’re looking at you, dad).

Here are our favorite outdoor restaurants to celebrate the world’s best.

Scojo’s

Open from 7AM daily, early risers can maximize their day by dining at Scojo’s. They’ve got loads of healthy options like a lean scramble and portabella benny as well as egg scramble skillets with mix-and-match ingredients.

Blue Water Cafe

If you’re looking for an upscale brunch option, Blue Water Cafe is the way to go. They have a delightful patio full of greenery to make the vibe just right, and a special brunch menu featuring the likes of banana foster french toast and huevos rancheros.

Uncle Will’s

Frequent visitors will recognize Uncle Will’s sign right away, a sweet little piggy. Known for some of the best breakfast on the island, they serve a little bit of everything, from pancakes and waffles to benedicts and biscuits. Bonus: they’re BYOB so bring the bubbly and cheers to dad — they have fresh OJ waiting for you.

Tucker’s Tavern

Beach Haven’s own Tucker’s Tavern has arguably the best outdoor seating situation on the island. There are 360 socially distant seats in every imaginable landscape, from the beer garden and rooftop to the sidewalk and covered deck. The gastro-pub menu is sure to please, and service starts at 10:30AM.

Sandbox Cafe

Located in Ship Bottom and Surf City, Sandbox Cafe offers all of the classic breakfast and lunch dishes you love, plus some surprises. Not-to-be-missed are the deep-dish sizzling pancakes and parmesan baked eggs, two Sandbox specialties.
